A Mindful Young Woman at the Time of Moral Decadence: Bethelhem Taddese

I met her first in her modern, state-of-the-art office, one of the few exceptionals in Addis. Bethelhem Taddese is a young, charming, friendly, simple yet gentle women, having an easy cordial spirit that’s inviting to communicate, unlike heavy spirited corporate women. Above all, one can easily hold the supposition that she’s too young for her achievements to finally learn that she worked he way up from a poor fair background. There more to a person than meets the eye.

We don’t usually come across an interpreuneal, business minded, independently strong, and civilised woman in today’s Ethiopian social matrix, despite the few notable exceptionals in this regard.

There are triggering factors that urged me compose these lines about Bethelhem. I observed distinctive virtues in her which other women would be inspired with and emulate.

I met her as a business woman, I being a professional she would commission for a certain service. My first supposition was that she’s just one other corporate women I often meet commonly who are voracious of profits and who would go any unhealthy way as a goal-digger. As days went by in our professional partnership, I learnt that Bethelhem is different.

Committed to make sure that her business is operating on a fair win-win situations, she is determined to the realization of her dreams with iron-clad faith and confidence. These traits are clearly reflected in her believe on professionals, compassion to her employees, efforts of motivating and lifting up the needy along with her desciplined personality. Bethelhem Taddese is not one who is surrounded with glitziest materials or having a fancy ostentatious lifestyle. She always runs it low and humane.

But most importantly I found her patriotic attitude remarkable, which she reflects in various ways and actions she undertakes to be of service to her country and country men. In the speech she delivered during her company’s official inauguration she confided, “Today, we hold this ceremony to officially inaugurate Ethio Airs Trade and Investment and renew our commitment to work hand in hand with the government to the cause of serving the youth and our beloved country at large.

Every big milestone begins with an idea and a dream. And for this dream bear fruit, it needs the proper nourishment in one form or the other with sheer will and determination.

Similarly, I had a dream of my own when I established Ethio Airs. This dream is born out of an impulse I embrace since childhood: serving my country men and my country.”

Bethelhem Taddese is the founder of Ethio Airs Trade and investment engaged in the sectors of travel, event organization and employment. Having previous experience in the tour and travel sector, her company is reestablished with a new vision, diversified services, reinforced technical & human resource capacity coupled with a state-of-the-art working environment.

She recently donated a G+1 building with it’s compund to the National Corona Virus prevention Committee.

Coming from a Travel academic background, and having a passion of working in the hospitality industry, Bethelhem has successfully managed to bring up her own firm to the current significant level. The current well organized and managed travel, event organization and employment firm is a standing witness of Bethelhem’s inner passion, efficient effort, visionary management and wealth of human capital.
